We are the way

subtitle: (Synthesizing a Rational Pathway to a State of Elevated Consciousness: The Experience of Being an Individual Human is the Eternal Journey through Never-Static (Continuously Evolving) Spiritual States.)

Jesus said, “I am The Way.”  We should say the same thing about ourselves.  We should also say, “I am the way,” (but on the finite level of course.)

Modern cosmology and quantum physics have demonstrated with scientific certainty that there exist levels, or dimensions of reality much more subtle than we can detect with even the most advanced and sensitive technologies.  Scientists have proven the “energetic” basis of physical reality- which is to say that the tiniest physical entities, and all their subsequent combinations arise from no other source than dynamic motion or “energy”, and their continued existence relies on the same dynamic motion and nothing else. Energy is motion, and motion is energy.

We individuals “exist” as forms of motion, moment to moment.  In spacetime, that manifestation seems precarious, because it is moving; it is not monotonous or static, so it seems inconsistent, possibly fleeting.  We know that our current spacetime manifested form can cease to be instantaneously, and without warning, (we can die), because what is present constantly vanishes, and yet just as consistently re-manifests as the future form.  Absolute death of anything which has actually ever been is a rational impossibility.  No one has ever experienced the reality of non-being, because to experience is existence.  To exist in manifestation is to be in a state of multi-level, energetic motion.

At the center of our experience of the motion of life is something consistent, the experiencer.  The same experiencer we know as our self, is always there through every successive change.  Both our mind and emotional being evolve as life matures us, and forces us to become increasingly conscious of and responsible for objective realities.  Nature forces us to come to terms with our narcissistic myopathy, and take a wider view, i.e. we eventually, inevitably become rational, opening the next level of our self, the spiritual level.  Throughout that process there is deep within our multilevel being, the place of the very root of our individuality.  That root is called the soul.  It is not a thing.  It is an opening, a void, a receptivity, a vessel which receives Life.  Infinite Divine Life flows in from The Source, and we receive it, a finite receptivity, according to our uniqueness.

The collective wisdom of the ages has determined that we do indeed arise into manifested reality, each of us in a completely unique way, which is never repeated or duplicated.  The repetition or duplication of any human individual is utterly impossible.  If no two snowflakes can be alike, how much more so for people?  Cloning might be able to produce a physical form nearly duplicating another physical form, but humanity is the product of non-physical forces which are profoundly non-static.  The creativity which births us, the moment of conception, when goodness and truth come forth in unity, to become a human baby, that is the start in time of another universe; this is the most profound and significant event, most sacred, the advent of a new divinity. The birth of an individual into the physical realm is a moment of multi-level, mystical synergy far beyond a mental conception of a simple biological phenomena.

All the factors and forces from all the levels of realty combine at a single point of origin, partaking in the most intimate communion, including all the particulars of the time/space/societal framework, and that particular combination is not ever to be seen again.  We each came forth stamped 1 of only 1 ever to be produced, and then the mold was instantly broken, as we each instantly began to evolve.  We are each irreplaceable, and indestructible in our core essence, because we arise from the timeless unity of Essential Being Itself, a vessel limited but Divine.  Each of us is a perfect one of a kind receptivity of Divine Life; limited but unlimited as well, because we spring from the Unlimited, and the Unlimited consistently flows without interruption through us, always.  Our chosen limitations become the shape of our individualities.

Life’s purpose is the creation of the society of free and conscious individuals. This is stated in the ancient Indian rational spiritual science, Samkhya. Swedenborg said the same thing, that the aim of Providence in the creation of the Universe is to establish heaven from humanity, and he describes heaven as a free, rational association of spiritual angels who are all individuals who were formerly natural beings.    All of the energy of Being Itself is directed according to that creative intention, (the intention to create free, conscious beings,) including that finite stream of Energy called “the individual self,” which you channel moment to moment.  Our purpose should intend to harmonize with the Ultimate’s purpose, then we will thrive, and ultimately, according to Swedenborg, become an angel, a free and conscious being.

Everything that is given to exist, to transpire, is working to help you realize the true fullness of your innermost being, and there is no timeline governing that process.  The timeline is your business.  God is the Lord of Eternity (the state/dimension which transcends time),  and you are the time lord of your natural universe.  Time has no independent existence, it is an element of the subjective reality, it depends on you.  Time is merely the experience of sequential awareness, one conscious experience follows another.  To be “in time” is to be conscious in the context of sequence, the relationship between events, with your thinking arising through the sequence, and conditioned by it.  Time is constructed of past, present, and future.  We think about the past, and the future, but we live only in the present, and only the present is real.  The past and the future only have any measure of reality if we mentally conjure them into the present.  An enlightened being experiences the state of truly objective consciousness by remaining fully present in the now, not allowing ourselves to be conditioned.  One should not be distracted by the past or the future.

This is the life of a spiritual being: be deliberately, objectively engaged with the significance of the phenomena you are experiencing moment to moment, while keeping in mind that the purpose of your experience is to evolve spiritually as an individual, and also to participate in the spiritual evolution of your immediate associates, the spiritual evolution of your community, and finally, you also contribute to the spiritual evolution of the collective humanity.  The schedule and pace of your journey is entirely up to you, and there is no need to feel hurried, because you are eternal, you transcend time.
