The Rational Pathway to Attaining an Objective Realization of  the Dynamic Realities which shape our Experience as an Individual Soul

“Objectivity in the Now is Freedom” - David Higgins

I present the first statement of this essay in this manner (a quote as if from someone who is not me), to acknowledge a fundamental principle: the human individual is simply a reception and a transmission.  I have been given the name David, which refers to my form on the level of manifestation; my form is an identifier of my place in the current collective shared reality. If I can objectively understand that form in a clear way, I can experience a state of grace, if I so desire, because I will gain an increased ability to efficiently receive and transmit in-sync with the needs of the context in which I find myself.  Grace equates with harmony and well-being, and for most, the ambition to experience grace, if possible, is the sane, and obvious choice.  So assuming the reader desires to abide in a state of grace, I hope to present a series of concepts (ideas) that create a foundation and structure that will facilitate the evolutionary journey to sustained grace for the individual.  None of our pure ideas originate in ourselves, but we have he ability to synthesize and combine to create seemingly new ways of talking about things.

As the bending road of time stretches out before us, each society of minds needs to be constantly reworking on a semantical level the philosophies that are being employed.  We should analyze whatever turns up around each bend, and adjust our perspectives.  We receive, reassess, mix and combine, and then express a philosophy which reflects our current needs, a submission to the collective intelligence for consideration, and a test run.  I am submitting a reworked philosophical collection, hoping the reader will do more than kick the tires.  I am confident that the selection of concepts which follow, are entirely worthy of a test drive, because using them I feel I have attained a sufficient measure of grace myself.  I am certain that this essay is a decent contribution to our collective capacity for receptivity of harmony and well-being.

To be able to see and comprehend the objective purpose within external phenomena is a  goal requiring mental disciple.  For the sake of attaining  liberation, we must first bind ourself with a commitment to the process.  The restriction of  disallowing philosophical nonsense to reside in our minds will break our consciousness free of materialism so it may soar unhindered in the realms of idealism.  Suffering vanishes when we detach from subjectivity.  Freedom through wisdom engenders confidence and peace; equanimity and power, along with an unshakeable contentment follow once true rationality is realized as our habitual state.

Time and space must be mastered, and transcended.  The way to channel infinity and eternity is through the mind.  If one can understand time and understand space fundamentally, neither is an obstacle that can induce suffering.  Grace is the absence of all inner suffering. It is experienced through elevated perspectives, which enable harmonious participation in creation.  Our capability to generate elevated perspectives is inborn, and it is the fulfillment of our destiny as an individual human personality.  In fact, the entire purpose of the existing natural universal reality is to support the birth and maturation of that capacity we each have to derive our own conscious dynamic point of view along with the realization of our synchronized individual contribution to the community well-being.

Humanity is a thinking organism.  This has always been so, but objective thinking is something else.  Objectivity is only present in mature humans.  Some people die without any measurable quantity of objectivity.  There are large numbers of us sleepwalking.  Too many are completely unconcerned by any deeper needs than to gratify physical ambitions, so they don’t bother with thinking philosophically, even though life rarely allows physically focused living to bring lasting harmony. Age removes the luster of most phenomena, but sadly people don’t always turn within to explore wether or not one might directly control the inner level where satisfaction and dissatisfaction abide.  People too often remain completely, complexly passive about the quality of the experience of those inner levels.  To realize we all have the capacity to attain real control of the inner level is the great turning point, when an individual suddenly changes from being just a thinking animal, to being a burgeoning rational being, who will become master their own universal domain, master of one’s personal destiny, arbitrator of grace.

Reality wants to be known.  (God is having some PR issues right now, so we should just keep “God” hidden in the semantical shadows).  Reality has personality, and intention.  Reality will slap you in the face.  We can say Reality is not a nice guy (or girl).  However, if we attain some objectivity we can discover what reality has for us, and what It, ( not an abstraction, a conscious, non-gender specific being requiring a personal pronoun), wants from us in return.  Reality is entirely rational, so to know It, we must be rational.

It is the goal of the ages to attain rationality, the greatest endeavor of all, and it is only attained in the collective because all thinking requires context and structure, which is a social product and a social experience.  Rationality is an experience, found in experience only, not in abstraction.  Abstraction is a fantasy world, unproven, it does not have actuality.  Theory is a playground for the brain, requiring no playmates.  Rationality requires playmates.  Wisdom only exists in the ever-moving now.  Past and future are abstractions, fantasies that can provide color and emotion that seems like substance, but is only elemental subjectivity.  Objectivity is now, in now, and of now. Sequentiality sustains the now as process.  Life is process; not a process, not a thing, or a noun.  It is a verb; human life is experienced actively processing in a sequence, in a moving social context, non-static.  Life is non-static.  Matter in also non-static.

What is matter? And what is our relationship to it?  This is very much a now question.  Our intellectual ancestors grappled with questions for us, and we should be grateful, and we should by all means not waste time reinventing the wheel (the reason for books). Matter is on the table for this generation of thinkers, philosophers.  Finally, we can answer the most fundamentally practical question: What the heck is all this stuff I see around me?  All our greatest thinkers start and stop on that question.  We know great thinkers through books (and of course, sharing the content of books verbally).    The content of minds has all been committed to books all along the way, for the sake of objectivity.  We hold ideas at arms length to subject them to objectivity.  Hold the coming ideas at arms length, and meditate on them, ruminate (chew).  Rationality requires mental nutrition, and nutrition requires digestion, mental digestion is discussion with oneself and more ideally with others.  Books are one-sided conversations with reality, objectivity in approaching books transforms the contents into conversation.  One should not be passive with a book on hand, we should always engage books with our skepticism engaged. Metaphysical conversation is a complex process to discover true rationality.  To be in possession of ever increasing knowledge about the realm of our existence, and if the knowledge is sufficiently accurate and objective, we will not be sleep-walkers.  Knowledge engenders rationality, which is to be actually conscious, awake.  Enjoy the process, and enjoy life.
